Exclusive Bricktober sets will be available to LEGO VIPs soon

LEGO fans everywhere are finally going to have access to the last two Adventure Ride promo sets soon.

October used to be an exciting month for LEGO fans. Not only for the standard monthly release from the LEGO Group, but also for Bricktober – a promotion run by the iconic toy store Toys R Us. During Bricktober, Toys R Us would release one or more exclusive LEGO sets (and sometimes minifigure packs).

Unfortunately for LEGO enthusiasts in the US, UK, and Australia, all Toys R Us locations closed down in the past few years. In other places like Asia or Canada, though, where Toys R Us is still going strong, Bricktober has continued – making the exclusive sets even more exclusive.

Last year, the Bricktober promo was a collection of four “Adventure Ride” sets, which are all based on the LEGO Ideas set 40335 Space Rocket Ride. Each of the four has its own theme: Space, Pirate, Fantasy, and Dragon. They’re a cute collection of sets that are definitely desirable, whether it’s to put them in your LEGO city or just to display on your desk.

Fortunately for those who don’t live in a country with Toys R Us, the Pirate and Dragon rides were made available in the VIP Reward Center in November of 2022. The sets were re-boxed into more generic yellow LEGO packaging, making them technically different from the Bricktober versions, and they sold out quickly.

Now, the LEGO Group has shared through the LEGO Ambassador Network that VIPs will finally be able to complete the collection, as the final two rides – Space and Fantasy – will also be available in the VIP Reward Center soon, once again in the new yellow packaging.

The final two rides will be released separately – one on June 16 and the other on July 11. We don’t have confirmation yet as to which one is releasing on which date, but we do know that availability will be limited. If you’re interested in snatching up these exclusive sets, make sure to be ready on those dates!
