Find out the winners of the LEGO Ideas Microgame contest in Unity’s livestream

The winners of Unity and LEGO Games’ LEGO Ideas Microgame contest will be announced on Thursday April 8 during a livestream.

The session will run from 6pm to 9pm UK time this Thursday on the UnityTech Twitch channel. A panel of judges, made up of Unity’s Community Manager Carol Trang, LEGO Games’ Senior Technical Lead Anders Atholm, and LEGO Games’ Senior Product Lead Rasmus Harr will play their favourite entries live and reveal the winners during the stream.

Out of the 1,000 entries received, two grand prize winners will be announced, along with a pair of runners-up and two winners drawn at random. The top victors will get to take home a bumper pack of prizes, including LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor71374 Nintendo Entertainment System71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course71369 Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set, a Unity Microgames Premium Asset Bundle, a one-year Unity Pro subscription, and a $200 Unity Asset Store voucher.

The other four winners won’t be left empty-handed either. They win 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course71369 Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set, a Unity Microgames Premium Asset Bundle, and a $100 Unity Asset Store voucher. Everyone who participated also gets their own free LEGO Unity minifigure.

The Unity and LEGO Games Microgame contest was introduced through the ‘Game Jam’ tutorial. Fans were taught how to create a video game using the LEGO Microgame platform in a livestream hosted by Carol Trang and Developer Advocate Ashley Alicea.
