First look at new LEGO NINJAGO 2027 set at SDCC

The LEGO Group has revealed a first look at an upcoming NINJAGO 2027 set at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con panel.

Alongside a slew of other reveals – including a special event show titled Dragon’s Fury in 2027 – the LEGO NINJAGO panel at SDCC this year included a first glimpse at 71875 Lloyd vs. Ras Spinner Battle, which is our first look at a new LEGO set for 2027 full stop.

That set name is still just rumoured for now, as the slide shown off at the panel (pictured here by DuckBricks) only teased the set number. We don’t have confirmation of the price, piece count or release date either, but it’s said to launch in January for $24.99 in the US.

Spinners have been a staple of the NINJAGO product line since the very beginning, and these look like a clear evolution of the 2026 designs (such as 71850 Lloyd vs. Earth Monster Spinner).

This time round you get two in a single set, though – along with new weapon moulds, minifigures and a brand new design for Lloyd, with aqua highlights added to his green and gold suit.
