First look at LEGO Technic 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S

An online retailer has shared a first look at an upcoming LEGO Technic 2025 set, the 1:5 scale motorbike 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S.

Coming in at the same scale as 2022’s 42130 BMW M 1000 RR and 2023’s 42159 Yamaha MT-10 SP, 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S – as revealed by German retailer JB Spielwaren – will retail for €199.99 in Europe. That’s cheaper than either of those previous motorbikes by a margin of €50 and €30 respectively, despite containing 125 more pieces than the Yamaha.

42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S includes 1,603 pieces total, which is also 957 more elements than 2020’s 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R, a smaller and more affordable take on the Italian manufacturer’s luxury range. Expect much more detail as a result, along with (of course) a much heftier finished product. If you already own either or both of the BMW or Yahama bikes, this one should look very nice displayed alongside them.

Check out more images of 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S below. It’s due to hit shelves on January 1, 2025.

The LEGO Group has yet to reveal the full Technic slate for 2025, but 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S joins 42207 Ferrari SF-24 F1 Car in the list of confirmed sets so far. Check out the full rumoured slate below.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
