First look at LEGO Marvel Fantastic Four 2025 set

An online retailer has published official images of the first-ever LEGO Fantastic Four set, 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure, which is due to arrive on shelves in June.

The long-awaited addition of Marvel’s first family to the LEGO Super Heroes roster comes thanks to The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which will headline Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on July 25. German retailer Playzeug has shared the first images of what’s effectively a buildable character accompanied by four minifigures in 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure, which carries branding for the upcoming movie on its box.

The 427-piece set includes everyone you’d expect: Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm, or Mr. and Mrs. Fantastic, the Human Torch and the Thing, all making their LEGO minifigure debuts here more than a decade after the LEGO Group first picked up the Marvel licence. Reed’s stretchy powers are recreated using brick-built legs, while the Thing’s slightly bigger size is represented by a new headpiece and giant fists.

Beyond its minifigures, which will likely be the main draw for many LEGO Marvel collectors, 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure’s entire piece count is poured into its giant depiction of one of the comic book universe’s most iconic villains, which stands a hefty 28cm tall. You’ll be able to get your hands on the set from June 1, and Playzeug suggests it will retail for €59.99 in Europe.

We’re probably looking at a UK price of £54.99 and a US price of $59.99, but that’s just speculation on our part until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. Chances are this one will pop up on LEGO.com later today (based on historical precedent), so we’ll hopefully know either way very soon. Head here for a complete list of LEGO sets confirmed and rumoured for 2025.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
