First look at rumoured minifigure in LEGO 76271 Batman Gotham City
Another Batman: The Animated Series set is rumoured and LEGO 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City might include a preview.
Ahead of its launch in one week, closer looks at 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City has arrived, showcasing parts of the set not featured in official images. The new LEGO Batman model releases on April 1 for LEGO Insiders (and April 4 for everyone else) for £259.99 / $299.99 / €299.99.
While 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City includes four minifigures inspired by the series, one more is rumoured for later this year. 76274 Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile is reported to feature minifigures of Batman, Mr Freeze and Harley Quinn – two of which appear fully in 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City.
It turns out that Mr Freeze is included in the set too though. 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City features several characters represented as stickers within the buildings scattered throughout the model. One of these is GothCorp, tied to Victor Fries or Mr Freeze. As such, he’s included as a minifigure sticker.
Given that the designs of Batman, Joker, Catwoman and Harley Quinn match up with their stickered versions, this sticker may offer a preview of the Mr Freeze minifigure rumoured for 76274 Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile. The sticker showcases the familiar domed helmet which may necessitate a new element, unless they opt for the piece debuted for The LEGO Batman movie and the existing laser accessory.
Currently, nothing is confirmed for LEGO Batman beyond 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City and you should take all rumoured details with caution.
