Five directions for the rumoured LEGO Wicked 18+ sets
A second LEGO Wicked 18+ set is rumoured, with dozens of directions for the LEGO Group to take such sets in, including these five concepts.
The list of LEGO Wicked sets rumoured for later this year recently got even bigger than the first wave in 2024, including word of a second huge 18+ set. These rumours come from the reliable Clay_Bricks via BrickMerge, but they’re to be taken with plenty of caution until an official announcement arrives.

| 75688 TBC | $39.99 | 476 | September 2025 |

| 75690 TBC | $69.99 | 744 | September 2025 |
| 75691 18+ TBC | $119.99 | 1,327 | September 2025 |
The Wicked sequel is scheduled to be released just after these rumoured sets, putting them in a position to revisit the first film while recreating new moments from the second. While you might be hoping for Wicked minifigures from these rumoured 18+ sets, that’s just one of several directions for the LEGO Group to take with adult-aimed builds.
From locations to prop recreations, here are five ways for LEGO Wicked 18+ sets to go, whether the rumours are true or not. Note that spoilers for the first Wicked film will follow.
The ultimate Emerald City

While the iconic Emerald City has been explored in the mini-doll centric 75684 Welcome to Emerald City, it’s far from a complete recreation of the city. There’s still scope for the LEGO Group to explore a much bigger model of the city – maybe even integrating the teased Yellow Brick Road, should the LEGO Group wish to base the rumoured set on the second film.
It would help differentiate it from 75684 Welcome to Emerald City, as would the inclusion of minifigures. Alternatively, a microscale Emerald City similar to 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds is another unique option.
Wicked Icons

After a brief exploration of brick-built Wicked props in a polybag and 75683 Glinda & Elphaba’s Dormitory, a LEGO Wicked Icons model in the same vein as 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition is a logical step for the LEGO Group to take with an 18+ Wicked set.
The likes of Elphaba’s glasses, Glinda’s wand and the Grimmerie would be perfect inclusions in a LEGO Wicked Icons set. Since 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition has 3,010 pieces, the concept can be scaled down to half the size (matching the piece count of the rumoured sets) by including half the items.
Upgraded buildable figures

Since 75682 Elphaba & Glinda Figures is scheduled to retire later this year, an upgraded set of LEGO Wicked figures with advanced techniques would be an interesting direction to take an 18+ LEGO Wicked model.
While Elphaba and Glinda are the most obvious picks for such a set, it would be the chance for the LEGO Group to explore buildable figures of other characters, such as Fiyero, Madame Morrible and even The Wizard of Oz.
A better Shiz University

Alongside the Emerald City, another take on Shiz University after the small build in 75681 Glinda, Elphaba & Nessarose at Shiz University is ideal for an 18+ LEGO Wicked set.
The intricate school has architectural details alluded to in the small set, but the budget of an 18+ model would allow the LEGO designers to fully explore Shiz University, either as a minifigure-scale or microscale model. Either way, another build of Shiz University would be worthwhile after 75681 Glinda, Elphaba & Nessarose at Shiz University.
A working musical recreation
The most surprising omission from LEGO Wicked so far has been a functional recreation of one of the movie’s songs, as well as one of the new sound bricks. Neither of the rumoured sets’ piece count suggests the inclusion of a sound brick, which would impact the price, looking at 10334 Retro Radio and 76429 Talking Sorting Hat.
Thankfully, integration with smart devices via more QR codes would suffice for the music, and an 18+ LEGO Wicked set is the perfect opportunity to create a complicated mechanism that recreates one of the first film’s songs. Dancing Through Life with the spinning library shelves would be a perfect fit for such a concept.
