Five things we’ve spotted in LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising

With just over a month to go before LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising starts, the trailers have revealed some interesting details for the theme.

LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising’s marketing has been busy as of later with plenty of trailers and clips starting to surface alongside details of its release around the world.

Here are a few things we’ve spotted in the footage released so far from familiar models to returning faces – old and recent.

5 – Rock Monsters

The Realm of Madness’ Craglings seem to have a new look in NINJAGO Dragons rising. Before, their appearance seemed to be based on Power Miners’ larger Rock Monsters. However, their updated look instead potentially takes inspiration from the smaller rock monsters and their stubbier design.

4 – 71786 Zane’s Ice Dragon Creature

Much like Jay’s Titan Mech cameos in the first trailer for NINJAGO Dragons Rising, 71786 Zane’s Ice Dragon Creature appears to be visiting the Cloud Kingdom – another instance of a Core set appearing in the animated series.

3 – Destiny’s Bounty

The Destiny’s Bounty is back in NINJAGO Dragons Rising and thanks to a listing for an upcoming NINJAGO book, we can see how the animated vehicle compares to what could be the ship’s next set.

2 – A diverse civilisation

A recent clip confirmed that NINJAGO Dragons Rising will merge all the realms into one world. This event seems to have created an especially diverse civilisation with a scene in a new trailer including what could be Merlopians and Skulkin alongside Prime Empire characters, Serpentine and other minifigures.

1 – Lightyear robots

Another trailer for NINJAGO Dragons Rising features a few familiar robots with red eyes on a black screen as well as a yellow head and body. While they don’t look to be quite as big, this is a similar design to the Zyclops in 76830 Zyclops chase
