Listing for upcoming LEGO NINJAGO book offers early look at new set

A pre-order Amazon listing for an upcoming LEGO NINJAGO might have just offered a sneak peek at a new set coming to the theme.

We’d already spotted the upcoming release of LEGO NINJAGO Secret World of the Ninja, which includes its very own exclusive minifigure. However, now that an Amazon listing has offered an early peek inside its pages, the book might also include a clue to an upcoming LEGO NINJAGO set.

Spotted on the bottom left of the pages pictured below, it looks to be a redesign of 2020’s 71705 Destiny’s Bounty. The description of the image in the book also offers some insight into the build, reading: “Not only does the Destiny’s Bounty have a training room, weapons store, cosy kitchen, and TV room – it can also fly!”

Although the model itself looks quite compact, we could see references to those rooms and features within the build. Comparing it to 71705 Destiny’s Bounty, it looks as though it might have the ability to bend in the middle, being made up of two hinged parts, rather than one complete brick-built structure, although it’s hard to tell for sure.

More notably, it doesn’t appear to have the impressive dragon head that 71705 does, but there’s evidence of some studs on the front which mean it could be removable. We’ll have to wait for the official reveal of the set before we can make any solid observations, however.
