Follow LEGO Star Wars UCS Republic Gunship reveal on our liveblog later today

Excited for the full reveal of the LEGO Star Wars UCS Republic Gunship? Join Brick Fanatics’ liveblog later today as we gear up for the big announcement.

LEGO Star Wars designers Jens Kronvold Frederiksen and Hans Burkhard Schlömer will be pulling back the curtain on the first prequel trilogy set in 11 years (the last one being 10215 Obi-Wan’s Jedi Starfighter, all the way back in 2010) via the official LEGO YouTube channel at 2pm UK time.

We’ll be kicking off today’s liveblog two hours before then, giving us plenty of time to chat about what else is happening this week – and there’s a lot – while we prepare ourselves for the grand unveiling. Whether you’re looking for a distraction at work or just have some free time on your hands, join us and get involved!

As well as revealing and reacting to the Republic Gunship announcement and livestream, we want to hear your thoughts on 10279 Volkswagen T2 Camper Van, how you found the first round of crowdfunding for the BrickLink Designer Program, and what you’ve been buying on double VIP points (which is still going on for a few more days!).

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
