Four more LEGO Technic summer 2026 sets revealed

The LEGO Group has unveiled four more LEGO Technic sets on the way this summer, including a Unimog with pneumatic functions and two more Fast & Furious cars.

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s Batmobile Tumbler, Dodge Viper and more come three more LEGO Technic cars, along with a Mercedes-Benz Unimog that promises more traditional Technic functionality. These will debut in June, a couple of months ahead of the others. Check them all out below…

42229 Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse

Price: £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99 Pieces: 827 Release date: June 1, 2026

The LEGO Group is going big on Fast and Furious this year, with two more Technic cars joining the fray in June. First up is 42229 Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse, which marks this car’s debut in LEGO 25 years after it first appeared on the silver screen, and includes steering and an engine with moving pistons. Fingers crossed this one makes its way to Speed Champions eventually.

42231 Fast and Furious Dodge Charger R/T

Price: £139.99 / $159.99 / €149.99 Pieces: 1,516 Release date: June 1, 2026

Next up is a fresh take on 2020’s 42111 Dom’s Dodge Charger, this time with roughly 50% more pieces in the box. 42231 Fast and Furious Dodge Charger R/T includes independent front and rear wheel suspension, a V8 engine with chain-driven compressor, rear-wheel drive with differential and – as always – working steering.

42241 Green Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport

Price: £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99 Pieces: 771 Release date: June 1, 2026

The LEGO Group is clearly on to a winner re-releasing the same set in multiple different colourways, and so it goes with 42241 Green Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, a recoloured version of January’s orange 42222 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport. It’s the same price, the same piece count, the same set – only green this time. Good if you like Kermit.

42242 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 5023 with Crane

Price: £109.99 / $129.99 / €119.99 Pieces: 1,189 Release date: June 1, 2026

42242 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 5023 with Crane comes in at a respectable price given the amount of functionality it boasts, which includes a pneumatic pump to raise and lower the crane, steering, four-wheel drive, a six-cylinder piston engine, opening doors and bonnet, deployable outriggers and suspension.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
