Free LEGO Formula 1 model event returns to US stores soon
The free LEGO Formula 1 Steering Wheel model is racing back to US stores soon, alongside another free LEGO model coming this month.
The LEGO Group is bringing back the LEGO Formula 1 Steering Wheel build to US LEGO Stores later this month, as new event listings confirm two notable Make and Takes to add to your calendar for later this month, ahead of the upcoming free in-store Star Wars event.
Here’s what you need to know about both upcoming events, which are so far only confirmed for the US and Canada.
Steering Wheel

After an initial run of the free LEGO Steering Wheel event in March, the Formula 1 model is racing back to stores in pole position for one more day later this month. Head to your local LEGO store (after checking on the official LEGO website that they’re participating) on April 24 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm to grab a free LEGO Formula 1 Steering Wheel model, which will pair perfectly with 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars.
As usual, it’s first-come, first-served while supplies last. Since this event was held earlier this year, don’t expect the builds to last long. The fact that this returning giveaway is taking place during the week rather than at the weekend is unusual for LEGO Store events.
Mother’s Day Flower

Also taking place later this month is a free LEGO Store Make and Take event to take home an oddly adorable Mother’s Day Flower. You might recognise this model as it was given away last year, but it’s still one of the best LEGO flowers given away at these events.
Head to your local LEGO Store (once you’ve ensured they’re taking part by checking online) on April 27 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm to secure the free flower for your mother, yourself or someone else. The giveaway is on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The LEGO Store in Paramus, New Jersey, will be hosting the event on April 27 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
