Free LEGO NINJAGO Thunderfang make and take event announced

LEGO NINJAGO fans will be able to pick up a free mini Thunderfang model later this month, thanks to an upcoming in-store event.

There’s plenty for LEGO NINJAGO fans to get excited about in the months to come, with a full range of summer sets having been officially revealed this week. Upcoming models include the usual mix of massive mechs, vehicles and new minifigures, with 71846 The Fire Knight Mech and 71847 The Guardian Dragon being stand-out releases.

Also on the horizon for fans of the long-running theme is an upcoming LEGO NINJAGO make and take based on an existing build. LEGO Stores in the UK and Ireland will be the place to visit on May 17 and May 18 from 10am to 12pm if you want to get your hands on a free mini Thunderfang model.

The promotional set will be available in limited quantities on those dates, on a strictly first come first serve basis, with one LEGO NINJAGO model per person.

The mini Thunderfang make and take build is based on the much larger 71832 Thunderfang Dragon of Chaos, with the 668-piece set having been released earlier this year. The good news is that its tiny brick-built cousin still utilises similar red, purple, black and gold elements, albeit it a lot less of them.

The mini Thunderfang model promotion will also be taking place in a number of European LEGO Stores later this month, but you’re best to check with your nearest retail location in advance as dates and times do vary.
