Get ready for the red carpet of the Oscars in a new LEGO Ideas activity

The glitz and glamour of Hollywood is the theme of the next LEGO Ideas activity as builders are being asked to share their star-studded models ahead of the 93rd Academy Awards. 

The next LEGO Ideas activity is focusing on an upcoming event, much like the team did for International Women’s day, but this time the red carpet is being rolled out in preparation for the Oscars. 

The film award event still has a while until it takes place on April 26, but despite that, the LEGO platform wants to make sure you’re in the spirit with this week-long activity. 

Like with any past LEGO Ideas activity, there’s no prize up for grabs, it’s just an excuse to grab your bricks and be creative around a particular theme. With the subject being the annual film event, it might be an idea to build something from your favourite movie, or maybe the iconic Oscars trophy with a twist. 

It’s not the first time that the Academy Awards and LEGO have mixed with Nathan Sawaya, LEGO Certified Professional previously creating his own brick-built version of the golden statuette. Check out the activity page for more information and to submit your entries before time runs out on March 30.
