Guerrilla Games confirms multiple Horizon games in development

Guerrilla Games, the studio behind Horizon Forbidden West which inspired a LEGO set, has confirmed multiple Horizon games are in development.

As reported by Video Games Chronicle, a series of job positions at Guerrilla Games have revealed a couple of games set in the Horizon universe that are now in development. These include a multiplayer cooperative game and more solo adventures featuring Aloy. That last line may be referring to one or more games, such as a third main series title following Forbidden West.

This is on top of the Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores DLC coming in 2023 as well as a Horizon PSVR 2 title. Don’t forget the Horizon Netflix series coming in the future too.

So far, the LEGO Group’s experience with the Horizon franchise only includes 76989 Horizon Forbidden West Tallneck. However, with that set frequently selling out over the past year, there may be opportunities for more LEGO Horizon sets in the future.

Nothing has currently been confirmed or rumoured but with the Horizon universe set to vastly expand in the future, there should be another source material for the LEGO Group to draw on.
