The LEGO Group is pausing on new LEGO releases in December – but only because there’s a lot coming in January 2026.

The LEGO Group often likes to kick off a new year with a bang, and 2026 is set to be no different. Brick Fanatics‘ Matthew got to see some of the upcoming releases across LEGO NINJAGO, City, and Technic while at Fan Media Days, getting to see some of the nifty building techniques and play features up close.

Plus, you can hear insights from the designers, such as the colour theory that underpins LEGO City’s schedule for 2026 and how the NINJAGO sets for next year showcase the growth of its characters – and its building styles.
