Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge react to LEGO Indiana Jones sets

Two Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny stars have reacted to Indy merch from across the years – including the most recent LEGO sets.

Huge franchises like Indiana Jones, spanning more than four decades, have drummed up a lot of merchandise over the years. The LEGO Group itself launched three LEGO Indiana Jones sets that look back over past movies to celebrate the release of Dial of Destiny in 2023 – although there’s been no sign of any sets specifically tied to the movie, despite teases.

With Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny releasing yesterday in worldwide cinemas, co-stars Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge reacted to different collectibles from the franchise, including 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb and 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol. While their opinions are only shown in a brief one-minute clip, Waller-Bridge in particular seems excited by the miniature versions of Indy through the ages.

Ford, as usual, brings his own brand of sharp humour and laidback style to the clip, cracking a few smiles at Waller-Bridge’s excitement. We’d imagine he’s probably used to seeing replicas of his own image after several decades in the business, but Ford does still get stuck in, attempting to pull the hat off one of the tiny Indy’s.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
