The LEGO Group appears to have high hopes for its upcoming collaboration with Olivia Rodrigo across five LEGO Editions and Botanicals sets.
Fans of Olivia Rodrigo will no doubt be over the (crescent) moon today with the news that five LEGO sets have been created in close collaboration with the Grammy award-winning performer. That might seem like a lot of models to be based on just one particular celebrity, but there could well be a good reason behind that decision to go with an unproven IP.
Our very own Matthew has taken a closer look at the upcoming LEGO Olivia Rodrigo sets in his latest video below, revealing his thoughts on why that new partnership actually makes plenty of sense and just who those models are supposed to be for.
It’s clear from today’s announcement that the LEGO Group is attempting to reach beyond the usual demographic for such builds with the LEGO Olivia Rodrigo models and not just targeting an angsty teen audience.
Some of that approach will undoubtedly have been steered by Olivia Rodrigo herself though, as she has apparently worked closely with the LEGO Group to include numerous Easter eggs and nods to her career to date that only true fans of her music are likely to pick up on.
All five LEGO Olivia Rodrigo sets are now available to pre-order via LEGO.com and will be arriving online and on store shelves from August 1, 2026.
