How to get every LEGO NINJAGO Elemental Master minifigure 

With the final Elemental Master in the newly revealed biggest LEGO NINJAGO set ever, here’s how to finish the collection from scratch.

With the finish of LEGO NINJAGO Masters of Spinjitzu and the start of Dragons Rising, the last Elemental Master minifigure of the original set has finally been released. Inspired by a comment from one of our readers, we’ve put together a guide on how to get them all. 

This includes minifigures of the main characters, despite their common appearances, just in case anyone is starting from scratch. Sora from Dragons Rising also appears to be an Elemental Master, but we’re highlighting the older characters for now until the exact details are confirmed in the new series. 

It’s an expensive collection of minifigures undoubtedly and for this list, we’ll be focusing on the least expensive sets that are not retired where possible but including examples of aftermarket prices when appropriate.  

Creation 

Set: 71787 Creative Ninja Brick Box RRP: £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 3 

For the power of creation, you’ll need Master Wu, who is included in 71787 Creative Ninja Brick Box alongside Kai for fire and Nya for water. 

Destruction  

Set: 71775 Nya’s Samurai X MECH RRP: £104.99 / $119.99 / €119.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 3 

Garmadon has the power of destruction, only currently available in 71775 Nya’s Samurai X MECH alongside Nya for water and Jay for lightning. 

Fire 

Set: 71780 Kai’s Ninja Race Car EVO RRP: £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 1 

71780 Kai’s Ninja Race Car is the least expensive set to include Kai, but only has the one minifigure. Alternatively, 71777 Kai’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Flip has a different Kai minifigure but has yet to release. 

Water 

Set: 71778 Nya’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Drift RRP: £8.99 / $10.99 / €9.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 1 

Nya is similarly included in 71778 Nya’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Drift, launching on June 1, 2023. 

Earth 

Set: 71782 Cole’s Earth Dragon EVO RRP: £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 1 

71782 Cole’s Earth Dragon includes Cole as well as an elemental dragon of earth, but there are no bonus Elemental Master minifigures here. 

Ice 

Set: 71761 Zane’s Power Up Mech EVO RRP: £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 1 

Zane is included in 71761 Zane’s Power Up Mech, another affordable model but only with one Elemental Master minifigure. 

Energy 

Set: 71779 Lloyd’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Spin RRP: £8.99 / $10.99 / €9.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 1 

As part of the new sets, Lloyd is featured in another spinner but is also included in quite a few inexpensive sets, making him easy to collect. 

Darkness 

Set: 853866 Oni Battle Pack RRP: £11.99 / $12.99 / €12.99 BrickLink average price: £40.08 Elemental Master minifigures: 3 

Oni have the power of Darkness and three are included in 853866 Oni Battle Pack – the only LEGO NINJAGO set for March of the Oni. 

Golden Power 

Set: 71781 Lloyd’s Mech Battle EVO RRP: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 1 

For this element, any minifigure of Lloyd in his golden outfit should suffice and thankfully, 71781 Lloyd’s Mech Battle EVO includes him. 

Amber 

Set: 71773 Kai’s Golden Dragon Raider RRP: £89.99 / $89.99 / €99.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 3 

71773 Kai’s Golden Dragon Raider is the most recent set to include Skylor, who rarely appears in the theme, though is much more common than other Elemental Masters. 

Shadow 

Set: 853687 Accessory Set RRP: £10.99 / $12.99 / €12.99 BrickLink average price: £21.75 Elemental Master minifigures: 3 

Shade is included alongside Skylor in the retired 853687 Accessory Set, so you’ll have to resort to the aftermarket for this minifigure. 

Smoke 

Set: 853687 Accessory Set RRP: £10.99 / $12.99 / €12.99 BrickLink average price: £21.75 Elemental Master minifigures: 3 

Ash is included in the retired 853687 Accessory Set too, making it a must-have. 

Metal 

Set: 70756 Dojo Showdown RRP: £19.99 / $24.99 / €24.99 BrickLink average price: £100.79 Elemental Master minifigures: 3 

Karlof has only been included in 70756 Dojo Showdown, which has now retired. 

Speed

Griffin Turner was also last included in 70756 Dojo Showdown, marking it as another must-have for collectors. 

Mind

Neuro, Elemental Master of Mind has only ever featured in the Bricktober 5004938 NINJAGO Minifigure Collection pack from 2017. 

Time 

Set: 70626 Dawn of Iron Doom RRP: £59.99 / $59.99 / €59.99 Elemental Master minifigures: 5 

The Time Twins Krux and Acronix are included in 70626 Dawn of Iron Doom, as well as Krux in 5004938 NINJAGO Minifigure Collection. 

Wind 

Set: 70738 Final Flight of Destiny’s Bounty RRP: £99.99 / $119.99 / €119.99 BrickLink average price: £193 Elemental Master minifigures: 5 

Morro is the Elemental Master of Wind and is included in 70743 Airjitzu Morro Flyer but with no BrickLink listings new, you might be better looking for 70738 Final Flight of Destiny’s Bounty. 

Poison 

Set: 70163 Toxikita’s Toxic Meltdown RRP: £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 BrickLink average price:£30.98 Elemental Master minifigures: 1 

Not included in a NINJAGO set, Ultra Agents minifigure Toxikita is Tox in the NINJAGO universe and Elemental Master of Poison. 

Light

Ultra Agents’ 70167 Invizable Gold Getaway features Invizable, also known as Paleman in NINJAGO for the element of Light.

71735 Tournament of Elements is home to three exclusive Elemental Master minifigures, the first of which is Gravis for Gravity.

71735 Tournament of Elements shouldn’t be hard or too expensive to pick up on BrickLink now it has retired and it’s the only way to get Jacob, Elemental Master of Sound too.
