Grab a huge 20% off LEGO Star Wars 75257 Millennium Falcon

Don’t have room for the mega LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon, but still want a hunk of junk in your life? Grab its smaller sibling with 20% off at John Lewis right now.

75192 Millennium Falcon is the biggest brick-built take on Han Solo’s ship to date, but not everyone has the space or budget for that Ultimate Collector Series set. And that’s fine! The LEGO Group caters to everyone – at least where the most iconic Star Wars ships are concerned – and there’s a much more affordable version available in 75257 Millennium Falcon, which you can buy for just £119.99 at John Lewis.

Originally released to tie in with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, 75257 Millennium Falcon is easily the best play-scale recreation of the ship that made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. And that’s all down to one major design improvement: the top of the freighter is finally fully enclosed. Gone are the gaps of 4504 Millennium Falcon, 75105 Millennium Falcon et al.

It makes for a much more attractive Falcon than any of its predecessors, which is probably why the LEGO Group is still pumping it out nearly four years later. How can you improve on perfection? At this scale, there’s really not much more you can ask for. The minifigure selection is obviously anchored around The Rise of Skywalker – goodbye Han, hello… Boolio? – but you can always swap in your own original trilogy characters, if you decide the garbage won’t do.

75257 Millennium Falcon usually retails for £149.99, which is already £585 cheaper than the UCS version (at RRP), but John Lewis has slashed a further £30 off the set’s asking price in its latest LEGO Star Wars sale. There’s no definitive end date on this deal, which means it could theoretically disappear at any time, so don’t hang around if you’ve got this one on your wish list.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
