In pictures: LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle

Explore every single inch of the soaring LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle – including its incredible 25 minifigures – in our extensive image gallery.

Just announced by the LEGO Group, 76178 Daily Bugle is the biggest Marvel set the company has ever launched – both in dimensions and piece count, given its 82cm height and 3,772 bricks. That means it’s a model with a lot to take in, both inside and out.

Yep, this skyscraper has a full interior. And best of all, it’s completely modular – more so even than the actual Modular Buildings Collection, which features removable floors but not walls. 76178 Daily Bugle goes one step further by allowing unprecedented access to the offices hiding behind its sleek, glass-fronted exterior, sidestepping any issues previously experienced by those of us with adult-sized fingers.

The enormous set also includes the necessary minifigures to populate it (and then some), with the full line-up consisting of several members of the Spider-Family – but not the rumoured Spider-Woman, alas – and a cabal of Spider-Villains. All in all, it sounds like a lot of bang for your £274.99 / $299.99 / €299.99 – but while you wait for release, best to let the pictures do the talking…

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
