Join the LEGO designers in a 10295 Porsche 911 car meet

The LEGO Group has added a new video to the official online store, offering designer insight into the new 10295 Porsche 911, from both of the companies.

LEGO VIP members are being treated to a completely free reward as a new video has been added to the VIP homepage. The new video is a behind-the-scenes chat with designers from the LEGO Group and Porsche, answering some questions and offering a unique look at the design of 10295 Porsche 911.

One of the more interesting aspects of this video is that Ginny Buckley, an automotive journalist who acts as the host, states that this is the very first LEGO VIP car meet, meaning more may be on the horizon. We can’t help but wonder whether these videos will be for only new models or if they will dip into some of the complex cars of the past.

The host is joined by LEGO design master Mike Psiaki, Porsche exterior designer Fabian Schmölz, and Jörg Thilow of product development at the Porsche heritage and museum. Unlike the designer video for the build, this means three unique perspectives on how the set came to be from masters of motors and LEGO models alike.
