Last call for LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 sets

With one week to go until pre-orders close, a last call has been put out for the remaining two LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 sets.

A total of five fan-designed creations managed to make it into the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 line-up, which is currently being crowdfunded. Those who have already placed their pre-orders can expect to receive their limited run sets later this year, with three of the offerings already sold out.

SleeplessNight’s Mountain Fortress, DistractedBldr’s Snack Shack and Mind_the_Brick’s Old Train Engine Shed have all reached their 30,000 maximum allocation limit, so are now gone for good. You could always try picking them up on the secondary market further down the line, but they’ll probably cost you a pretty penny.

That just leaves two sets remaining, both of which have now received a last call for pre-orders. Despite managing to hit their initial funding targets, both NicolasCarlier’s Parisian Street and Ilucky’s General Store are still way short of completely selling out. The deadline for purchasing either (or both) models is February 28 at 8pm GMT, at which time all pre-orders will be closed.

When you purchase your set, the LEGO Group will place a temporary hold on your card for the required funds, but you won’t have to pay the balance until the models ship. The LEGO Group is currently targeting a July despatch, though actual shipping times may vary.

LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 funding is due to take place in June and includes five winning designs. A third round of five Series 3 models can then be funded in October and you can select your favourite Series 4 submissions right now in the official fan vote.
