Last chance for double points when shopping at LEGO

Today is the last day to earn double LEGO Insider points on every purchase you make with the LEGO Group, both online and in-store.

The LEGO Group runs double LEGO Insider points (formerly LEGO VIP points) several times a year, but we’d hazard a guess that this will be the last opportunity to earn the equivalent of 10% cashback until 2024. You earn roughly eight points for every pound you spend on LEGO in the UK, although it’s worth noting that this fluctuates depending on where you are in the world.

LEGO Insiders points can then be redeemed for vouchers both online and in person, offering you money off your future LEGO purchases. 800 points can be redeemed for a £5 voucher, for example, as well as a wealth of LEGO Insider rewards. There are two mini builds currently available to pick up in the Rewards Centre for example, with World of Wonders available for 2,700 points and Birthday Diorama for 2,100 points. Plus, there are still three days left to be in with a chance of winning a graded Captain America minifigure from the 2012 Toy Fair.

All in all, it’s well worth stocking up on points during these events, whether you redeem them for vouchers or free LEGO via the Rewards Centre. The more you spend, the more points you earn, so this is a good time to tick off some of the more expensive sets on your wishlist. Plus, double points is often the best deal you can get on LEGO exclusives that rarely see discounts, or to get some cashback on a retiring set before it’s gone for good in a couple of weeks. There are even some sets that will instantly qualify you for a £50 voucher in one single purchase, just in time for Christmas.
