Last chance to buy LEGO before UK and EU price increases
Today is your last chance to work through your LEGO wish list before prices rise in the UK and Europe, with dozens of sets new and old in line for increases.
Following similar price bumps in the US, Canada and the Asia-Pacific region at the beginning of August, the LEGO Group will adjust RRPs in the UK and Europe on September 1. The changes are coming due to ‘increased raw material and operating costs’, and have already seen some products jump by as much as $70 in the US.
We don’t yet have a definitive list of which LEGO sets will increase in price in the UK and Europe, but a couple of British retailers have given us some idea of what to expect. The current list includes sets from across Star Wars, Technic, Ideas, LEGO ICONS, Marvel, Harry Potter, Speed Champions and many more, with price increases reaching as much as 22%.
Here’s the list of imminent UK price increases as it stands right now:
This list only includes products sold through The Entertainer and Selfridges, and therefore doesn’t include sets sold exclusively through LEGO.com and LEGO Stores. Expect the full list of sets affected to run a fair bit longer – and if the price increases in the US are any indication, we could see a few heavy hitters becoming even more expensive.
75192 Millennium Falcon, 75313 AT-AT, 10273 Haunted House, 10294 Titanic, 21327 Typewriter, 21323 Grand Piano and 75978 Diagon Alley have all shot up by $50 apiece, for example, while 71043 Hogwarts Castle has climbed a full $70 to $469.99. If any of those sets are on your wish list in the UK or Europe, today is likely your last chance to grab them at their current price.
We’ll bring you a conclusive list of LEGO price increases in the UK and Europe once they’ve gone live tomorrow, September 1. In the meantime, head here for the full list of US price increases.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
