LEGO 10267 Gingerbread House: Taking the tour

A look at LEGO Creator Expert 10267 Gingerbread House is only complete with the appropriate tour guide…

It is a challenging task to count the references to sweets, treats and baked goods in LEGO Creator Expert 10267 Gingerbread House. Every single bit of space in the set, be it on the interior or exterior, is packed with colourful sweet concoctions. It is entirely appropriate for a Gingerbread House, especially one that exists in a world so fantastical that minifigure gingerbread people actually live in the house.

Both the Gingerbread Man and Gingerbread Woman are redecorated versions of the original minifigure that was released in the LEGO Collectible Minifigures series, making them exclusive to this special set that continues the festive tradition of having a special edition Creator Expert set.

It is LEGO Design Manager Jamie Berard who leads the team responsible for these delightfully holiday themed sets, including this year’s baking inspired model. “It was fun because you don’t just make a bed, you make some sort of a food bed, you make a bathtub with chocolate milk in it,” he explains in an exclusive walkthrough of the set for Brick Fanatics Magazine.

In Brick Fanatics Magazine Issue 12, the design expert goes through the entire set and explains what went into the making of 10267 Gingerbread House. To find out what Jamie had to say about the confectionary creation, order a copy of the magazine or consider a subscription and save money on the cover price.
