The latest Castle-connected addition to LEGO icons is the massive 10332 Medieval Town Square and it's filled with nostalgic details to adore.

In case it wasn't clear already, LEGO Castle is back thanks to LEGO Icons and Ideas, now adding 10332 Medieval Town Square to the growing display of complex and detailed creations revisited times of old. Featuring eight minifigures and over 3,000 pieces, references to previous LEGO Castle sets are (as expected) scattered throughout the town.

To help you spot some of these details and take a closer look at the two builds, here's our latest visual tour to guide you through the brand-new 10332 Medieval Town Square before it launches next month.

LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square minifigures

The eight minifigures in 10332 Medieval Town Square include a cast of characters that resemble that of 10305 Lion Knights' Castle but with some notable exceptions. They have not been named at the time of writing, but we can get a bit creative based on their appearances.

A lone knight from the Lion Knights guards the town equipped with a spear while a bard tells stories and strums up songs in the tavern downstairs. The most exciting minifigure is undoubtedly the first Wolfpack minifigure since the theme's return, cloaking his appearance as he sneaks around the town.

LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square designs

Through a mix of mostly stickers and some printed elements, various designs adorn the walls, shields and even the tree in 10332 Medieval Town Square.

From a couple of posters to one of the most decorated shields in LEGO history and a nostalgic tapestry that is ideal for LEGO Castle enthusiasts, there's a lot to look out for.

LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square animals

As well as another LEGO goat following its grand return in 71045 Series 25, animals are abundant in 10332 Medieval Town Square including some insects that you might not have spotted.

A kitten, squirrel and a couple of birds explore and nest around the town but you may have missed a pair of bees gathering nectar, printed on one-stud round plates though they are not easy to spot in all but a few of the officially-shared images.

LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square tavern

10332 Medieval Town Square features a detailed tavern for minifigures to rest and relax at. This tavern shares a building with a few other services, but it takes up the majority of the structure across three floors.

There's the dining area with a game of chess being played, a kitchen to serve the guests and a room with a hidden compartment for ill-gotten gains.

LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square cheese factory

The other building in 10332 Medieval Town Square has a much different shape, opting for a wider arrangement with enclosed shops and services instead. Much of the model is taken up by the cheese factory with an extensive outdoor area for the goat to graze in.

Inside, a traditional cheese factory is featured including a wide selection of aging cheese ready to be sold at the stall, including a couple of blocks as big as a minifigure's body. Expect some high prices for those items.

LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square display

10332 Medieval Town Square is ideal for display, whether you have 10305 Lion Knights' Castle to showcase it alongside or not. The arrangement of buildings means that you can display them separately or in one large town display.

The provided minifigures and accessories should help you tell your own stories even when you're not playing with the model, by posing minifigures around the town.

LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square launches on March 1 for LEGO Insiders or March 4 for everyone else for £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99.
