LEGO Icons 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr now on back order

Stock levels for 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr are fluctuating in many regions, meaning a longer than expected wait for the LEGO Icons set.

10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr finally launched exclusively for Insiders on June 1, 2024, followed by a wider release for everyone else from today. The massive LEGO Icons set clocks in at an eye-watering 5,471 pieces and stands over 83cm tall, with initial pre-orders eligible for a unique (but now out of stock) GWP.

10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr certainly proves itself to be the perfect companion set for last year’s 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell, it includes 10 unique minifigures, is built in removable modular sections and is packed with secrets and intriguing details.

However, those Middle-earth fans hoping to get their hands on the LEGO Icons build will now have to wait slightly longer than expected, as the model is currently showing as being on back order in a number of regions.

In the US, 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr will be shipped by June 21, while in the UK and Europe the LEGO Icons set won’t be shipping until July 9. Some copies of the build may be available from your local LEGO Store, but there’s no guarantee that the retail locations will have any more stock for weeks to come.

10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr can still be ordered right now though, with back order waiting times varying from region to region. The LEGO Icons model is priced at £399.99 / $459.99 / €459.99, although the free 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast GWP has since long gone.
