LEGO 10350 Tudor Corner is designed for a specific spot on the modular street

The LEGO Group’s next modular building – 10350 Tudor Corner – has been designed for a specific spot on the street, pairing with a recent entry.

While you wait for the launch of 10350 Tudor Corner early next month, you might be debating where to place the next building on your street due to its unique design which may not appear to complement the architecture of any other building. Its distinctly British nature is unlike the many different architectural styles presented in the Modular Buildings Collection and finding the perfect place for it may not seem to be an easy task.

Luckily, that’s not the case and LEGO designer François Zapf has revealed exactly where you should place 10350 Tudor Corner in your collection, according to its intended design.

“The blue building is pretty classic, complements the other modular buildings and fits pretty well if you connect it that way but the other side has a little alleyway with stairs,” explained Zapf to Tiago Catarino. “It has been specifically made for 10326 Natural History Museum.”

“You can connect another building to have a little gap so that they can breathe. With the museum, it’s massive and they don’t usually come with houses attached to them. Having this little gap helps a lot with 10326 Natural History Museum.”

It’s an ingenious design when you give it some thought since 10326 Natural History Museum can fit specifically on the left of 10350 Tudor Corner and the blue side has been designed to fit with any other modular model. The unique nature of 10326 Natural History Museum and its colossal footprint benefits from the intentional gap too, as displayed in official imagery.

Doing as the designer states still leaves a gap on the left side of the museum and since no other modular building currently available or retired has a gap on their right, the museum won’t ever be as standalone as it should be according to François Zapf. Given the consistency of the modular collection, this seems unlikely to be a problem forever, but as it stands right now 10326 Natural History Museum still has to be connected to something on the left.

The LEGO designer’s insight is still sure to be useful when 10350 Tudor Corner is released next year and enthusiasts have to decide where exactly the building is going to go. 10350 Tudor Corner will be released on January 1, 2025 for £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99. Orders made when the set launches will receive a free copy of 40757 Corner Kiosk, available from January 1 to 7 or while stocks last.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
