LEGO 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000 inspiration on display today
Movie car fans can take a close-up look today at the vehicle that inspired the creation of LEGO Speed Champions 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000.
While the LEGO Speed Champions theme has primarily been focused on pushing its partnership with Formula 1 over the past few months, one recent release has offered up an eye-catching alternative.
77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000 sped into view on June 1, 2025, with the 300-piece build based on the bright pink car from the 2003 movie. The good news for some fans of the film in the US is that the actual inspiration for the LEGO Speed Champions set will be on display for all to see for one day only.
In a post on official LEGO social media channels, it’s been revealed that the Honda S2000 driven by Suki in 2 Fast 2 Furious can be admired by visitors to the American Honda Collection Hall in Torrance, California on June 21, from 9am to 1pm, allowing them to see how closely the LEGO Speed Champions mirrors its source material.
The bi-monthly event gives petrolheads the opportunity to check out a selection of classic and modern cars, with the real-world Honda S2000 movie vehicle taking pride of place at today’s Cars, Bikes & Coffee show, alongside its smaller LEGO Speed Champions cousin.
The Honda 2000 will be on display at the American Honda Collection Hall in order to celebrate the partnership between the LEGO Group and Honda, as well as to promote the recent release of the LEGO Speed Champions model.
