LEGO Disney 40478 Mini Disney Castle available now
The LEGO Group’s newest (and smallest) take on a Magic Kingdom icon is now available in 40478 Mini Disney Castle.
It’s a microscale version of 2016’s enduring 71040 The Disney Castle, offering a cheaper and more accessible way to demonstrate your love for Mickey and the gang. Only one Mickey minifigure is included in this set, though, so you’ll have to supply the gang yourself.
Retailing for £30.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 for 567 pieces, 40478 Mini Disney Castle is decorated in the colours of the current real-life castle, which was repainted in 2020 to reflect Cinderella’s 70th anniversary. That means dialling up the blue and gold highlights, in contrast to 71040 The Disney Castle’s muted dark blue and tan, but it only makes for a more eye-catching model.
