Another LEGO gift-with-purchase is rumoured for later this year and is believed to be revisiting a recent concept but in an entirely different way.
Instagram user fateful_lego reports that 40688 Trophy Award is a future gift-with-purchase with 157 pieces coming in April. The last trophy set to be released is 2020's customisable 40385 LEGO Trophy, which the Instagram user directly compares the rumoured set to in the post's comments.
It's said that 40688 Trophy Award will be similar to the 2020 model in that it depicts a gold trophy with 'champion' at the top and '1' at the bottom. 40385 LEGO Trophy features a white stand at the bottom that can be personalised depending on the occasion. 40688 Trophy Award is rumoured to feature a red stand instead.
40385 LEGO Trophy is made up of 200 pieces and while 40688 Trophy Award is reported to be smaller, large parts are rumoured to be used so the two may be a similar size.
