LEGO 40689 Firework Celebrations gift-with-purchase revealed

The future LEGO 40689 Firework Celebrations gift-with-purchase is now listed on the official online store, confirming the full details of the set.

The official online store has added the listing for 40689 Firework Celebrations, revealing a much closer look at the gift-with-purchase after it appeared initially. 40689 Firework Celebrations is valued at £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 with 184 pieces.

Two minifigures are included to display alongside two small dioramas. The larger of the two has stickers depicting fireworks as well as brick-built explosions, one of which can be spun around.

It’s an interesting gift-with-purchase and its listing suggests that it’s being prepared to be offered, though the exact details of its threshold and availability window have yet to be confirmed. The subject matter of the model makes it a good fit for early July though.

When it is made available, the summer 2024 LEGO sets should be useful in picking it up though it’s possible that, similar to 40685 Water Park, it will only be available with qualifying purchases from select themes. Official details hopefully aren’t far behind this listing as the set is at least now ready to be added to baskets when the time is right.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

I hope it is available on the 4th of July but only with the purchase of sets representing British icons and landmarks.
