LEGO 40714 Carousel Ride officially revealed
A brick-built version of a brightly-coloured LEGO Carousel Ride has been officially revealed in the online LEGO store.
The latest in a flurry of fresh LEGO reveals, 40714 Carousel Ride depicts a vibrant scene, with red and gold detailing on the flags and signs. Priced at £21.99 in the UK, $24.95 in the United States, and €24.99 in Europe, the set includes three minifigures: a ticket seller standing behind her market stall, a boy with an ice cream, and a girl with a camera who can fit inside the carousel’s carts.
There are four carriages on the brick-built ride, each with its own theme of a swan, a boat, a whale and a fire truck respectively. What’s more, 40714 Carousel Ride can actually rotate by turning a pedal gear in its base, meaning your minifigures can have a proper day out.
There are also a number of themed accessories in the upcoming LEGO set to fill out the scene, including a banana skin, a blue bird, a red flag, and a lamp post. 40714 Carousel Ride is due for release from March 1, just in time for spring and when real-life funfairs take to the outdoors to entertain people around the world.
