LEGO 40780 Birthday Cake gift-with-purchase revealed

A tasty new upcoming LEGO gift-with-purchase set for 2025 has been officially revealed in the shape of 40780 Birthday Cake.

A number of new LEGO GWPs for 2025 have recently been revealed, although we’re currently still waiting for official confirmation regarding specific availability dates and spending thresholds for the upcoming promotional sets.

Those freebie models include 40707 Year of the Snake40756 Lucky Knots and 40758 Celebration: Ferris Wheel with Fireworks, with a fourth build confirmed to be on the way too. Thanks to the official Building Instructions page and the LEGO Builder app, we now have our first look at 40780 Birthday Cake.

New for 2025, the LEGO GWP will be 160-piece model that includes a large brick-built yellow layered cake, complete with a variety of tasty toppings. Brown chocolate elements can be seen dripping down from the top of the confectionary and there’s a white and green base that has a slight Easter feel to it.

40780 Birthday Cake also comes with a minifigure of a girl with short legs and a printed raccoon-face torso that has purple sleeves. The GWP set is rounded out with a separate miniature cake on its own stand, complete with a flame element to simulate a birthday candle.

It’s likely that 40780 Birthday Cake will receive its own dedicated listing on LEGO.com in the next few days, so it’s possible we may know more details regarding the upcoming GWP very soon.
