LEGO Friends 42656 Heartlake City Airport and Airplane officially revealed
The first LEGO Friends 2025 set is up on LEGO.com, and it’s one we’ve not yet seen through third-party retailers: 42656 Heartlake City Airport and Airplane.
The 958-piece set joins a laundry list of LEGO Friends January 2025 sets revealed yesterday by online retailers, and we have the LEGO Group’s new partnership with Hidden Disabilities Sunflower to thank for the timing of this reveal. 42656 Heartlake City Airport and Airplane is one of three LEGO 2025 sets – alongside 10350 Tudor Corner and 10443 First Time at the Airport – to feature sunflower lanyards, building awareness of non-visible disabilities.
Here it’s printed on Ryan’s torso, one of eight LEGO Friends characters included with the model. He’s joined by Zac, Nova, Celine, Eva, Raj, Yvette and baby Emilia, along with Dango the dog. The set itself packs in an airport terminal – which is as colourful as you’d expect from LEGO Friends – a passenger plane and a taxi. The plane boasts spinning propellers, a cockpit for the pilot, seats for four passengers and luggage storage.
The terminal building, meanwhile, features a check-in desk, security gate, luggage carousel and X-ray machine, so you can role-play getting stressed making sure your liquids are all 100ml or less and having your bag double-checked because you forgot to take your phone charger out. You know, all the best bits of travelling.
42656 Heartlake City Airport and Airplane retails for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and is available to pre-order from LEGO.com right now in the UK and Europe. It will start shipping from January 1, 2025.

I really want this but it’s a shame it so expensive!
I love that it includes a mini doll with a sunflower lanyard (Ryan) and also a new mold for a baby (Emilia)
There are some other great mini dolls in this too!
