LEGO 5009325 The Simpsons Living Room GWP review 2 1024x683

Vibrant in colour and design, this 12×12-stud vignette is a small, fun recreation of the famous Simpson family couch that has featured in nearly every episode of the title sequence of The Simpsons, and has been the setting for many a memorable moment watching Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie live their lives in the long-running cartoon.

As a LEGO build it is excellently coloured to reflect the cartoon world that it is set within, with a number of clever, small details worked into the model to set the scene, whilst the Squishee drink on the sofa and the Krusty Burger advert placed on the television build are nice tie-ins to the set this gift-with-purchase is linked to.

However, without any minifigures nor really built to a size to comfortably accommodate them, 5009325 The Simpsons Living Room is more of a throwaway gift-with-purchase than a must-have addition to the collection. Even so, free LEGO is free LEGO, and the otherwise effortless way in which this can and does fit into any LEGO Simpsons collection is certainly not to be overlooked.

5009325 The Simpsons Living Room is available while stocks last, being awarded free from June 1 to June 7 with LEGO.com or LEGO Store purchases of LEGO Icons 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger.
