LEGO City 60347 Grocery Store gets unusual but official ASDA makeover

A strange, but not unheard-of, LEGO brand collaboration has been spotted, transforming 60347 Grocery Store into an ASDA branch.

As reported by The Brick Post, a strange edition of 60347 Grocery Store has been found with an additional sticker sheet to depict the generic supermarket as an ASDA supermarket instead.

ASDA is one of a few major supermarket retailers in the UK and it appears that the LEGO Group has decided to partner with them on an exclusive version of 60347 Grocery Store.

This version of the set is identical to the normal edition of 60347 Grocery Store but with extra stickers replacing the branding with ASDA imagery and phrases. These include a handheld sign outside, branding on the main signage and even above the bottle recycling station.

On the official ASDA website, 60347 Grocery Store doesn’t match this special edition, so there’s no word on how this will be available or when. However, given that 60347 Grocery Store is currently scheduled to retire by the end of 2022, according to our sources, it will likely be available in the next month or so as we approach Black Friday and Christmas.

While this is an unusual edition of an official LEGO set, this concept isn’t entirely unheard of as 2010’s 7848 Toys R Us Truck was a different version of 3221 LEGO City Truck with the addition of a Toys R Us shop too.
