LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71039 Marvel Series 2 revealed
The second series of LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures, based on MCU and Disney+ projects, has been officially revealed.
71039 Marvel Series 2 has finally surfaced on the official online store, confirming the second series of superhero minifigures as a follow-up to 2021’s 71031 Marvel Studios.
This time, there are 12 minifigures to collect with a variety of new accessories. The full selection of characters includes Agatha Harkness, Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, She-Hulk, The Werewolf, Goliath, Storm, Beast, Wolverine and Echo.
Out of that list, Echo is one of the only characters with an outfit that we’ve yet to see on Disney+, giving us a preview of what to expect in the upcoming series of the same name on November 29. Goliath is also new but could be from What If…’s second season unless there’s another member of the Ant-Man crew coming to the MCU.
There are a few new pieces to enjoy here, as seen in the spinning shot on LEGO.com. The bow element with Hawkeye and Kate Bishop appears to be a fresh iteration of the weapon.
Moon Knight’s hood is also new, as is Beast’s hair, and there are plenty of details in the printing to appreciate. You can find this series, now in blind boxes rather than bags, from September 1, 2023, for $4.99. Regional prices have yet to be revealed.
