LEGO Marvel 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle has a few familiar faces

The LEGO Group’s likeness for Tom, Tobey and Andrew in 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle might seem familiar to experienced fans.

Retailer JB Spielwaren has taken a closer look at 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle following a tease that revealed the presence of alternate heads for Tobey, Tom and Andrew’s Spider-Men.

Now, a clearer view of these faces has been revealed and they might seem familiar for LEGO Ideas, Star Wars or Marvel enthusiasts.

Tobey’s iteration of the character uses the Young Han Solo head from the 2018 range, but it most recently appeared in 10316 The Lord of the Rings Rivendell too.

For Tom, the LEGO Marvel designers have opted for the Henry Turner head that debuted in 2017s 71042 Silent Mary, which has been used for the actor before in 76129 Hydro-Man Attack based on 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Andrew’s head is far more unique than the other two, only featuring 21336 The Office as the head for Jim Halpert. This is the second appearance of this minfigure element, useful for those who aren’t planning to pick up the LEGO Ideas set.

All three heads have an alternate expression, just as they have appeared previously.

76261 Spider-Man Final Battle launches on August 1 for £94.99 / $109.99 / €104.99 with 900 pieces and six more minifigures.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
