Five LEGO Advent Calendars are ready to start the festive season

Christmas isn’t quite around the corner yet but according to the LEGO Group, it’s never too early to start with five Advent Calendars now available.

Whilst the seasonal range of LEGO Advent Calendars is introducing a newcomer to the yearly offerings in 2021 with Marvel 76196 The Avengers Advent Calendar, the usual suspects are still going with their own new models and exclusive minifigures to collect and count down the holidays.

The long-running Star Wars, CITY and Friends are back in 75307 Star Wars Advent Calendar60603 CITY Advent Calendar and 41690 Friends Advent Calendar respectively. The former is themed entirely to The Mandalorian and even features a jumper-wearing Grogu and a festive Din Djarin.

LEGO CITY’s Advent Calendar for 2021 is embracing the new Stuntz subtheme of sets with miniature models recreating a selection of the subtheme. Anyone who owns the 2020 CITY Advent Calendar will also be able to expand the microscale display that they have been slowly creating too, including a possible tease for a modular building.

The previous newcomer to the seasonal range of sets, Harry Potter, also returns with 76390 Harry Potter Advent Calendar being the most interactive countdown ever, allowing fans to make a board game by the time Christmas arrives. LEGO Friends helps to round out the usual suspects by reimagining the familiar team as infants, with exclusive designs for their festive clothing.

All five LEGO Advent Calendars, including the first one themed to Marvel, are now available from the official online store and in select retailers. Whilst we advise saving them for December 1, we won’t tell should you decide to open one early. Here’s a full list of every daily LEGO countdown now available:

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
