In an Instagram story, lego_club_news is reporting on what might be the first LEGO Architecture set for 2022 with the theme proposed to return to the skyline collection of sets with a recreation of Singapore.
Following on from 21021 Marina Bay Sands in 2013, a model for the famous Singapore hotel, another set based on the country is said to be due for release next year with the name 21057 Singapore’s Skyline. That title suggests that it follow on from the 2020 range of skyline builds, which included 21051 Tokyo and 21052 Dubai.
For 2021, LEGO Architecture received just one set in the form of 21056 Taj Mahal. The rumoured return of the skyline subtheme might suggest that more are on the way too. The initial report states that 21057 Singapore’s Skyline will cost $59.99 but there is no mention of a piece count or a description.
Nothing listed above has been confirmed by the LEGO Group and all rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt just in case. For those eager for more LEGO Architecture, 21056 Taj Mahal is now available on the official online store, and we’ve got an in-depth review exploring the brick-built wonder of the world.
