Your LEGO Avatar minifigures don’t have to be tall anymore

LEGO Avatar shook the minifigure world with the return of long limbs, but thanks to Avatar: The Way of Water, that doesn’t have to be the case.

In Avatar: The Way of Water, several younger Na’vi play key roles in the sequel’s narrative and as such, the LEGO Group have seen fit to introduce new Na’vi minifigures of varying sizes from the 2022 range.

Due in 2023, several of the LEGO Avatar: The Way of Water models include Na’vi minifigures with normal-length legs, as well as mid-length legs, contrasting from the longer variation seen in the five Avatar sets. These come in two colours, for each of the tribes featured in the Avatar sequel.

These shorter Na’vi legs can be combined with previous Avatar minifigures to depict characters at the same size as minifigures, for those who would prefer them at a smaller size to better integrate into their LEGO display.

The darker blue smaller Na’vi minifigure legs are featured in 75575 Ilu Discovery, 75577 Mako Submarine, 75578 Metkayina Reef Home and 75579 Payakan the Tulkun & Crabsuit with various designs to choose from.

All five LEGO Avatar: The Way of Water sets will be available from January 1, 2023, and you can take a closer look at them by clicking here

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
