Five LEGO Back to the Future minifigures we want to see

The upcoming release of 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine includes two new LEGO minifigures, but here are five more we want.

10300 Back to the Future Time Machine will be released next week and you can find what we think of the set in our full review and video review. Fans of the time-travelling movie series should be really pleased with the highly-detailed LEGO Creator Expert set, including its brand-new Marty McFly and Doc Brown minifigures wearing their Back to the Future Part II outfits.

While it’s great to be getting even more LEGO Back to the Future minifigures, here are five additional character packs we’d also like to see released.

Old West Marty and Doc

When Marty travels back in time to 1885, he discovers the Doc has set up shop in Hill Valley as a blacksmith. Marty dressed as ‘Clint Eastwood’ (complete with poncho) and Doc Brown with homemade scoped rifle minifigures would definitely hit the spot.

1955 Marty and Doc

Whilst there are a number of variations of the lead characters at one point in the 1955 time period, we’ve gone for their appearances in Back to the Future Part II. This would be a Marty McFly minifigure with hat, sunglasses and leather jacket, with a younger Doc Brown wearing the same 1955 outfit as seen in the original film.

2015 McFly Family

A trip to the year 2015 results in Jennifer bumping into her future self and audiences meeting the rest of Marty’s family. This includes old Marty McFly, Marty McFly Jr. and Marlene McFly (all played by Michael J. Fox) and the much older George and Lorraine McFly.

Principal Strickland and Jennifer

Marty’s strict high school principal appears in the first two Back to the Future films, including an alternate 1985 timeline. We’d like to see at least one minifigure version of Strickland, along with Marty’s girlfriend, Jennifer Parker.

The Tannen Clan

What’s a hero without a decent villain? Marty McFly has his hands full in all three movies with the Tannen’s, a mean old bunch in any time period. LEGO minifigures of Bufford ‘Mad Dog’ Tannen, 1955 Biff Tannen and Pit Bull hoverboard-riding 2015 Griff Tannen would be a great addition to any LEGO Back to the Future collection.

10300 Back to the Future Time Machine will be available to purchase from April 1, priced at £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99.
