LEGO Bits N’ Bricks podcast goes beyond games with five new experimental episodes
The LEGO Bits N’ Bricks podcast has returned for a brand new series that goes beyond games, exploring car parts, clutch power and conspiracies.
Originally conceived to explore all things LEGO and video games, the Bits N’ Bricks podcast wrapped up its fifth season (and 50th episode) back in October 2022. It’s been all quiet on the podcast front since then, but the show – hosted by journalists Brian Crecente and Ethan Vincent – has just returned out of the blue with five new episodes.
“Consider these upcoming five episodes as experiments, prototypes of different styles and formats,” says Vincent in the sixth season’s trailer. “Each one will be tackling different topics in what we hope are both unusual and informative and fun ways.”
The quintet of new episodes strays beyond video games to explore the birth of the Botanical Collection, ways creators are using LEGO outside conventional means, LEGO and sustainability, the development of clutch power, and – finally – a deep dive into the disappearance of the LEGO goat.
You can check out all five new episodes through your podcast provider of choice. Once you’ve listened to them, send any feedback you have to bitsnbricks@lego.com: the Bits N’ Bricks team will apparently shape the future of the series around the response to these five ‘prototype’ episodes.
