LEGO Black Friday 2020 dates confirmed

The LEGO Group has confirmed the dates for this year’s Black Friday promotions.

The newly-launched Christmas 2020 catalogue states that LEGO.com’s Black Friday 2020 offers will begin ahead of time on November 21. That’s for VIPs only, though – everyone else will have to wait until Black Friday itself, November 27.

There’s no word yet on what exactly those offers will entail. But last year saw enticing 30% discounts on some seriously desirable LEGO sets, including 70620 NINJAGO City, 71044 Disney Train and Station and 21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V.

You might have noticed that two of those sets have now retired. If this year’s offers follow the same pattern, soon-to-be-retiring sets like 10260 Downtown Diner, 80105 Chinese New Year Temple Fair and 10256 Taj Mahal could get the same treatment.

That’s entirely speculative on our part, of course, but it’s worth bearing in mind while planning your November shopping. For LEGO.com’s actual Black Friday offers, stay tuned to Brick Fanatics. We’ll be bringing you constant coverage on all the best deals as we inch closer to Christmas.

Amazon UK has already started its Black Friday deals, an entire month early. Two sets are currently discounted by 20%, including 42105 Catamaran. Unfortunately, the same deal on 75276 Stormtrooper Helmet has already finished.

To continue to support the work of Brick Fanatics, please buy your LEGO sets from LEGO.com and Amazon using our affiliate links.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
