LEGO Black Friday Holiday Tree offer is in-store only

The LEGO Group has published its full Black Friday offers ahead of this weekend’s shopping event, but you’ll need to head to a LEGO Store for one of them.

Among this year’s freebies is 30576 Holiday Tree, which you’ll get with a £40 / $40 spend. Unless you’re shopping online, that is. In what’s a pretty questionable move given there’s a pandemic going on, this promo is only available to fans buying in person.

That’s problematic for fans in cities or countries where non-essential retail is currently closed. Like almost all of the UK, for instance, with the sole exception of Cardiff. Fortunately, the set in question is only a small polybag, and the best Black Friday deals will all be available online at LEGO.com.

This year, those offers include:

  • Free 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute set worth £20.99 / $20.99 with purchases of £150 / $150 or more
  • Exclusive VIP rewards launching throughout the weekend
  • A chance to win 1,000,000 VIP points
  • The largest ever LEGO set 10276 Colosseum launches, with free LEGO Roman Chariot set included (while stocks last)

You can use our dedicated shopping pages to keep abreast of every LEGO Black Friday 2020 deal, including some that are already live:

Black Friday UK
Black Friday USA

The annual shopping event gets underway on Friday, November 27.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
