Free LEGO Botanicals Mini Orchid make and take event announced

LEGO Botanicals fans in the UK can pick up a free Mini Orchid from today, thanks to a make and take event announced by John Lewis.

The LEGO Botanicals theme is in full bloom this year, with four all-new sets having launched on January 1 and more rumoured to be on the way in the months to come. In addition, a global Valentine’s Tour is currently underway, with the LEGO Botanicals Le Florist Flower Truck stopping at a number of cities around the globe.

The theme is also getting an additional boost this weekend, thanks to UK retailer John Lewis. Visitors who pop into their local store from 10am to 4pm today will be able to pick up a free LEGO Mini Orchid build to either make there or take home to be assembled.

The promotional model is a tiny, scaled version of the much larger 10343 Mini Orchid, currently available for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99. The 274-piece set is part of the Four Gentlemen collection, which also includes 10344 Lucky Bamboo, 10368 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom.

The free LEGO Mini Orchid build can be picked up from a number of John Lewis stores, with a full list of participating locations here. The promotional model is available first come first served and limited to one set per person (while stocks last).

If one flower-based build wasn’t enough this weekend, then those in the UK, US and Europe can also grab a free Valentine’s Heart set from LEGO Stores. Dates and timings vary from region-to-region, so be sure to check with your nearest retail location to see if it’s running the promotion.
