LEGO Braille Bricks available to buy on Pick a Brick

Individual LEGO Braille Bricks are available to buy on LEGO Pick a Brick, making building LEGO even more accessible to the blind and visually impaired.

12 LEGO Braille Bricks have appeared on the online Pick a Brick, meaning you can buy them individually for 26p a piece. It's far from a full alphabet but is instead the bricks with the Braille markings for: +, ÷, *, ô, Ê2, Æ, Ã, Ø, Å, Â, À, and Õ. While that's a pretty select assortment of characters, it could be a sign that the full alphabet could one day make its way onto the platform.

At the very least, it means anyone wanting to add more copies of those characters to an existing LEGO Braille Bricks set, they can now do so easily.

Official LEGO Braille Bricks first launched in August 2023, followed by a subsequent release the range expanded it by three languages. As it stands, there are six different language alphabets available: 40655 Play with Braille – French40656 Play with Braille – English,40722 Play with Braille – German Alphabet40723 Play with Braille – Italian Alphabet, and 40724 Play with Braille – Spanish Alphabet, available for £79.99 / $89.99 / €89.99.

You can head to Pick a Brick right away to find the 12 new LEGO Braille Bricks available to buy now, alongside a range of new elements – including some space baby parts.
