The sets in the fourth series of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program have been announced and they've revealed a potential issue for the program.
Ever since some of the first LEGO BrickLink sets, there's been a clear love of Castle and Castle-adjacent models for the fan-designed sets and there's little doubt that they've been popular, consistently selling out in the crowdfunding phases.
That said, the increased number of medieval models in the latest series might present a problem with the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program, as explored in our latest YouTube video.
Based on how fast the Mountain Fortress sold out, there's little doubt that the Siege Encampment and Medieval Seaside Harbour will be popular in the fourth series though this is the first series to feature two distinctly medieval projects, instead of just one. Notably, the second series does not have a Castle-adjacent set, focusing on other sources of nostalgia and more concepts instead.
